The advent of longer licensing hours and the introduction of “early bird” breakfasts, have further shortened the window of opportunity within which we are able to work.

We work closely with our customers in this heavily regulated environment, they often need to balance operating logistics, with the need to ensure the public's safety, which often conflicts with a requirement to meet inflexible service delivery targets. Within this arena RFP Contracting are recognised as, a “pro-active contractor”
A heavy element of forward planning is required for projects such as, re-screeding a Bus Depot floor. Not the least of which will be, the consideration of where to park the buses during this operation! We strive to find pragmatic solutions, as in the case above, which would involve undertaking the work in manageable and staggered sections using wherever possible, accelerated drying processes.

Our high standards of service delivery ensure that we are well regarded within this demanding sector.It is little wonder that this sector is fiercely competitive and that all the operators, depend on high levels of service efficiency to ensure customer retention.
A key consideration in achieving this objective is the retention of a proactive and adaptable contractor, who can effectively maintain the building fabric in order to ensure continuity of operation.
Our broad range of services including Emergency Reactive Maintenance, together with, our ability to work within a “limited window of opportunity” necessitated by ever increasing hours of opening, ensure that we are able to contribute to our clients’ aim.
This being the case, we are required to undertake a substantial proportion of our works outside normal trading hours in order to minimize any disruption. It is vitally important that great care is taken in programming works to ensure that they finish on time to accommodate the fast moving environment.

Whilst the present government’s commitment to invest heavily in education infrastructure through “the “Building Schools” for future has been broadly welcomed, it is recognized that one of the major obstacles which needs to be overcome is the procurement of conscientious and experienced contractors.
